Next month , a dear friend of mine will go to the USA because she just grabbed a wonderful job there as an accountant. She got hired at a Las Vegas Accounting Firm and will soon be starting to work. I remember my sister who is also an accountant who currently works at a bank in CA. I told my friend that if there will be any vacancy in their company, she can give my sister a call so she can also try her luck there. My sister wants to try working in a firm since she has been with the bank for 4 years already. We will meet my friend next week for her send off party and I am having mixed emotions. I feel happy for her success in life , but I also feel sad because I will surely miss her. She has been working really hard eversince she graduated college ,a nd she truly deserves what she has now.

During our vacation, we were able to see the Ocean Pavillion of the hotel , and I instantly fell in love with it. I was there for like 15 minutes, looking all over the place that is full of glass overlooking the beach. Such a serene place and I keep on imagining myself there , renewing wedding vows with my husband. Four years ago, if only we have the budget , then I would have chosen those that I see in destination weddings. I love weddings by the beach because i really find it romantic . I imagine those pictures that I saw at the site of Karisma Hotels where the beach is so tranquil , then there's white flowers at the ceremony venue..the beach , the sun and sand highlights it all. Maybe i should stop shopping now so I can start saving so I can afford a destination wedding.

I love make ups and I just can't live without them. I am fortunate that my friends are so much inot it too so we shop together online especially if there's sale. I always try experimenting with my make up , from simple casual to something a little dramatic if there's an occasion. With this, my friend suggested that I take up cosmetology to further enjoy what I like to do best. Iam seriously thinking about it too, but I have to consider my schedule here at home. Having two kids really eats up my time so I am not sure if i can still squeeze up that class. But I feel excited just by thinking of it. I searched online and saw something like the beauty school indianapolis from Regency Schools. Its a fst growing beauty school that expanded its campus all over nine states. I am keeping this in my shortlist by the time I am free to enroll in Cosmetology.

Lately , I have been soo busy around the house , that I wasn't able to update this blog anymore. I became dependent on coffee and i thought of giving it a break for this week. But i wonder how will I have those energy I need to survive the day ? My friend suggested that I try these Acai Berry Energy Supplements . I am up for something BIG between my kids. I bet they will be like cats and dogs when it comes to toys and stuff. The pics above were taken during our weekend at Bellevue. They both love playing with their dad's cellphone and they are "fighting " for it LOL . It happened many times, not just with this but with the PSP , laptop , camera , LeapPad , LMAX (yeah they are both into gadgets) ... I will definitely be needing the best wrinkle cream when i hit 40 ! I think this is really normal , they both want the same thing at the same time . and when you try giving the other a different one, then the other would want that too. I hope this would be lessen when Dominique is into dolls already .

Then you need a charger of course ! It actually didn't came to my mind that Airsoft guns would need accessories. Well , it's a guy's thing so I have no idea with that. You might have noticed lately that I am working hard to shed a few pounds. Even though it really doesn't show yet in my figure, I am proud to say that I am doing my best to eat healthy and stay away from junk food. I stopped buying from the grocery , coz when you stock up at home, you usually eat that when you feel tired or hungry . So that gotta stop ! Today, a friend of mine called to inform me that she has finally decided to transfer to a place nearer to her work. She updated me with a change in telephone numbers, and the new address of course. She was looking for some cross country moving companies at her phone directory when she taught of me , that's why she called. Now that our monthly amortization for the car is done, i am thinking on where to invest some of our money. I am afraid that i will just spend it with nonsense stuff, so i must really come up with a concrete plan of not just putting it at the bank. I have the option of getting a few stocks , but since i'm not that familiar with stock options, i might try out investing with gold or silver. I plan to call the customer service of Monex so i can inquire with the silver price . I actually got this idea from a friend who already got a few pieces of gold. She said that it's worth investing with this since the value is really going up. Silver is one metal that is on high demand now because of it's properties so that would be a great investment too.

There's different type of resorts that offers personalized services suited for ones needs. Aside from the family resorts, they have beaches that is so ideal for honeymooners or those who are into a romantic getaway. I actually recommended this to a friend of mine who will get married soon. Since kids have very little to hang up, the closet requires short rods only. To hang lower rod, cut two pieces of strap webbing (each twice the length plus overlap). Wrap both straps over top rod, overlap ends on the bottom, and staple-gun through all the layers.

To achieve an extra-neat appearance, use a single style of hanger (we chose inexpensive plastic) in just one or two colors.

Shelf Storage
Bookshelves provide at-a-glance storage for pants, sweaters, and T-shirts. Stack sweaters, pants, and T-shirts on their own shelves so your child can find what he's looking for without rifling through every piece of clothing in a drawer. Use the bottom cubby to keep the backpack out from underfoot.

Peg Board

So this is one of the gifts that i got from my mom and dad when i turned a year older last May. I remember my mom asking me if i will like this heart pendant jewelry , and of course i said YES ! Im not really into jewelries, but now that i have a baby girl, i know that someone would use it in the future so there's a lot more reason to buy :) Anyway, here's the pic.. it doesn't give justice at all but it's really fab.

More than what i expected, it comes with a really nice chain . And its good to wear even if you are wearing nice fitting tees , it boosts up your look without being too flashy with accessories. Thanks mom and dad!

Last week , my mom told me that her sugar level is currently being monitored because her last exam results were a bit high than the normal range. She is also into some meds already and hopefully it will help her sugar to normalize in no time. Hopefully it will not lead into a full case of diabetes , because i know how hard it can be on one's diet. My mother in law has diabetes and until now she has medications and a strict diet to ensure that her sugar wont shoot up anytime. I even got her some insulin syringe last year for her daily shots of insulin. I think with proper diet , they will really be in good shape even they have diabetes. Im really hoping for the best for my mom's health. Its so hard to be sick nowadays.

Here's my princess , a week before she turned 8 months old. This was during our family weekend at Bellevue. I really thought we will have a hard time since she's a bit young and we have to bring a lot fo stuff for her at the hotel. To my surprise, we really had a great time there. She enjoys the water at the pool even if its a bit cold. I can't wait to have another weekend break again. Its good to have it once in a while .

sister and her online degree

Tomorrow will be my sister's first day in school , an online university i should say. She finally braved her schedule at work and enrolled herself to get an online degree . She really has a lot of plans for herself this year , and i never knew that she was really serious with it. Now i feel happy with all her decisions, I'm sure, she will really go places in no time. I wonder when i can enroll myself too. I've been thinking of this one for months now and i even told my husband about this . I am also encouraging him to enroll himself. Maybe, give us a few months, when my princess is a bit bigger and we have more time here at home.

Last week , we went to two malls looking for a great deal on XBox , but still we find it pricey with the amount i saw online. This is what the dad likes for now, he is really into game consoles so i am not suprised to know that he will be getting an xbox. Since it would cost us a few more here, we will just get it online and have it shipped at my moms place. She will soon be going home and my husband is willing to wait for a while. Boooo!!

This happens when im in great need of money, there's no room to be lazy. This is actually a long day for me already , but i have to work hard for something that I want to have soon. That I have to keep a secret for now.

Anyway, my princess is 8 months old today. We went to the mall for dinner then we checked a few of our fave stores. My husband is looking for an unlocked phone at the electronics shop as i browsed through some cameras. He plans of getting a personal phone because his current phone is for business use.

Enjoying an afternoon dip at the swimming pool of Bellevue Hotel with his dad. The water was cold according to Gelo , so i didnt let his Kuya swim (and he doesnt want to. he's contented with the bath tub in our room ) .. it was a short stint for the girl because of the wind , look at her hair !
So this is really for picture taking purposes. Her back is not even wet , pero naka sunblock yan all over , baka lalo umitim eh hahaha!

I am back to my online world.

I did not neglected my blogs, a lot of things happened last week and i really dont know where to start. First things first. I will just squeeze a few updates because I need to research more on Blue Advantage , a health plan for the residents of North Carolina. My cousin needs it for her thesis and I am helping her out.

Anyway, just to give you an idea, the highlight of our weekend was our 4th wedding anniversary. We stayed in a hotel down South with the kids , so i was out of the online world since Friday. I have tons of pictures to upload, but that needs to wait as i have a lot of assignments to submit.

I know a friend who is having difficulties with her finances and sad to say, a number of credit card companies are calling her to settle her payments. Not only that, aside from credit card, I think she still has a loan somewhere. She used to have a good credit standing , but with the recession that happened in their work, she was booted out and has no work until now. I asked her to go for a bill consolidation so she can finish all her debts. I gave her the number 877-550-0595 to call for debt help. If only i have the money to help her settle, but its way too big and i have my own finances too for my family.

She told me that she already inquired for bill consolidation loans over the phone and a very friendly representative attended to her. She is so grateful that her worry would soon end. I feel happy that she somehow has this peace of mind. I hope that she will get this job that she applied for so she really start a new life. She promised that she will really start with managing debts because she doesnt want this to happen again. She learned her lesson the hard way. But i am happy now that things are falling in its proper place.

I just received a great news from my sister tonight. They already got the New York Yankees tickets that they reserved last month. I was too lazy the past week . And the other week. And that explains the lack of personal updates in this blog. I am online, i chat with friends , but i dont feel like doing anything , except if i have a task to submit. Oh there's one thing Ive been busy with lately, party preps for the princess. Nothing major though, I just look online for possible supplies for the party. I am still undecided with a lot of party details so if you have some inputs, just let me know.

For the mean time, i think i need to look for some appetite suppressants , for myself. I've been eating like razy again, and i wasn't surprised at all that i gained a few pounds. I want to be back to 110 lbs , but i guess its close to impossible so i bargain for 115.. hahaha.

The answer is yes.

I've been shopping like crazy since I had my little girl and i think now is the best time to invest some of my earnings with something worthwhile. A friend told me that i can start with buying gold coins from trusted companies like Monex. so i first checked out the site to see how everything goes and to read testimonials / reviews from their previous clients. Yes, i always do this whenever i consider jumping into anything. Now i am 50% convinced to buy gold coins and hopefully this invest can give me really good money in the future. This is a lot better than buying tons of clothes and shoes for my kids haha. Now i can tell my husband that i am saving for an investment, thats something new to his ears:)

When I was still slimmer in figure ( yeah, i know, i still have my post pregnancy weight) i would usually dress up with a really nice plain colored top, denims and comfy flats. To spice up my outfit, i love wearing accessories. I prefer necklace over anything else. Second would be bracelets. It doesnt have to be expensive, I just want nice pieces in different colors. Lately, i tried wearing some costume jewelry rings because i receive one as a gift during my birthday. Wow.. i never thought it could add up some flair in my over all appearance. Its a good thing that i got 2 rings for my birthday and on weekend, i might check online for a little shopping for myself. Any suggestions on where i can find great pieces at good price? I heard Holsted Jewelers has a great collection and i'll give it a look after finishing some tasks.

I already posted these at my other blog, but i just find the princess so adorable , i cant help but publish it here:) The first pic was when i placed her at her Kuya's booster chair. She didnt cry at all , i guess she's excited hahaha. I put on her bib and gave her Rice Cereal. She likes it and i didnt had a hard time feeding her. I hope this happens everyday.. Joaqui assisted me of course. He is one excited Kuya im telling you. Every morning, i would tell him, lets go down, Dominique will eat:) And in no time , he's at the door already .

Since my girl is overweight, I dont go all out in feeding her, its just to introduce solids to her .. baka super tumaba na kasi (di pa ba? LOL), she might end up trying those diet pills in the future.

bike for the boy

Last Monday , the dad went home a little early than the usual because he decided to drop by the mall , have dinner and buy me a gift. Who am i to say no? Hahaha. We had a good dinner at one of our fave resto , The Old Spaghetti House (the waiters know us already since we are regular customers LOL). After buying my gift, we went to Toys R Us because a trip to the mall wont be complete without seeing toys. Yeah,my lil boy is happy by just simply looking and trying it out. He didn't even ask us to buy anything.. ang bait (mana sa kin syempre).

The dad is the one whho is so eager to buy him the motorized vehicle for kids. A few models were on sale and the boy happily tested his driving skills. He had fun, but I can tell that he's really not into it. You know what he likes?? A BIKE. Yes , a Mickey Mouse Bike with those support at at the back wheel. .. whatever you call it. I find the price a little steep, so we will just get him one at a bicycle shop LOL .. now we are looking for some outdoor lighting so he can still play even at night when his dad is at home.

I love the last pic the most. Its nice for semi formal occasions. Maybe i can have this made by the time my little girl is starting to walk. Every night I see to it that my kids would wash up before going to bed. I want them to feel refreshed and relaxed after a tiring day of play. Has anyone tried The Johnson's Baby Bedtime set.. or even just the body wash ? Been seeing this in the market and i would really wanna give it a try

This product is said to have calming effects for babies and kids so it is perfect for bedtime. I guess its the lavender scent that is relaxing here. So yeah, i dont need a candle to set a relaxed atmosphere hahaha. I will post an update once i tried this product. Lets see if the scent will last long at Dominique's Hair .. hehehe

Before i do some work at the laptop before bedtime ( like searching for term life insurance exam advice ), i usually take a few shots of the kids in their sleepwear. Last Saturday night was an extra special night since its the night before Mom's day and my Birthday. I planned what the kids will wear , Hahaha ! Here's the princess..

It was such a lovely night with her, she was so in the mood for picture taking. My little boy , on the other hand was in deep slumber during this time.

Very princess-ish! Hahaha.. in her sunnies while someone is holding her bottle of milk! We are actually inside a hotel function room when the pic was taken , and i thought of trying it out for her to see how she'll look..

She's one fab lil girl! ( o, syempre anak ko yan! hahaha!)

We went to her pedia today since she has colds (so as Kuya , and Mom has asthma)..she weighs 9 kilos already at 6 months ( i bet she will need fatburners when she gets older) , and as the doctor said , she is still overweight. 9 kilos is ideal for girls 10 months of age. But nothing to worry though since most kids who reach 6 months usually decreases their weight gain because they tend to start being really active as compared to the 1st 6 months of their life. She moves a lot and she is startin to sit on her own already:) i will post a picture next time.

She's not starting with solids yet because of the colds. I want her to start solids when she's at her best condition. im excited to witness that !

Another car?

In a few weeks time, or should i say 2 more monthly amortizations.. we are finally done with our car! Whew! Finally, what a great relief! The car that we have now was the one we bought a few weeks after we got married. It is our first investment as a couple so it really has its value to us. Now my husband is thinking of getting a bigger car for our growing family ..and i strongly disagree since we are ok with our car. We have to prioritize things now that the kids are getting older. Maybe we can buy another car in a few year time, but definitely not this year. What we need to settle by June is the car's insurance. Would you believe that this early , a lot of auto insurance companies are calling me and they are sending their quotations to me through email. I just need to decide by next week what we will grab .

Dominique turned 6 months old last Monday ! Actually, it was only that same morning when i remembered her day.. Bad mommy! So later that day, we just went to SM for dinner , and as usual we had a pizza and pasta night at Avenetto. Didn't brought along our camera because I dont have any space at the bag anymore. This is the reason why i wanna get myself a point and shoot LOL (another excuse to shop , hahaha! i want an external hard drive too ).. Since its just me , Gelo and the kids who usually go to the mall, i cant manage to carry another bag aside from the diaper bag . Our precious DSLR needs to be in its own bag opkors! LOL!

Anyway, back to my little big girl .. she's still overweight , and toothless LOL! Im on a panic mode because Joaqui had his first set when he was just 4 months old. Oh well, its not the same with all of your kids talaga. I just need to wait furthermore. We will visit her pedia too for a check up..any guess on her weight? Her last was 8.3 kilos (march 28?) . Oh, and i cant help but feel excited to start her with solids!!! Weeee!! Another mommy duty in the morning! Wish me luck!

The stock market is something that i really need to analyze well. I am not really knowledgeable on this market since I wasn't exposed to this during my school life and with my short stint at work. It was only then that i tried gaining knowledge since my husband got a few shares at their company. I would read articles online and check the stock market once in a while, but i admit that i dont fully absorb everything. It is so helpful that I got this tool from stock options , its like managing your covered calls in a portfolio. I still have to read more about it at their website , but this is a better option for me than having nothing at all. Hopefully i'll get the hang of it by next week.

I've been looking for some coffee alternative for my mom and dad , since their doctor said that they should cut down their coffee intake. So I asked a few friends from the medical field and they told me that there's a lot of organic choices in the market now like the kava kava. I hurriedly checked it online and i found it out. I first read about its origin , and contents and yes, it originated from kava roots which is really popular in Hawaii. It also grows in Thailand according to the website. I got their basic package for now, so my parents can try it out. And knowing me, i just ordered it online so it will be delivered at my parents house directly. Hopefully they will have great feedbacks on this so we can try ordering some of the kava products too .

Eversince his brother started with Soccer for Summer, i would often think on what sport would i enroll my princess soon. What would she like? Where would she show interest? Should we also let her try soccer like his big bro? And what would she wear??

How will I know when my baby's ready?

Your baby will give you clear signs when he's ready to move beyond liquid-only nourishment. Cues to look for include:

The month of June is just a few weeks away, and as you all know, it is a peak month for weddings. I myself is a June bride and I remember how I scout for suppliers a year before the wedding . I started early because I try to avoid cramming at all. I went to different bridal fairs and even search online. It didn't fail me though. We had unique personalized wedding favors distributed to our guests on our wedding day, its something simple but elegant, not to mention that i got it at a very good price. Now that my daughter is turning one soon, i am starting to look online for some party favors. Hopefully I can get something cheap and nice too.

I am still swamped with housework , tasks here and there.. errands to run etc.. Add to that, i have to work online til late at night for some pending assignments. By the time i hit the sack, i am dead tired. Still helpless now around the house, and i am thankful that the husband is so supportive of me. She's still a little overweight by i dont know how much LOL. She's wearing a size 12M dress that matches his Kuya's polo shirt during the Kuya's birthday dinner at Dampa. Unfortunately the matching underwear for this dress is small for her oh- so cute but oh -so big legs :) She's getting adorable each day and I cant help but to enjoy every moment of it. In no time, she will turn a year old, and just the thought of it makes me uber excited because my family will be home to celebrate with us.

I previously blogged about my cousin in law who will soon be opening a medical clinic at their place. She is almost done with the basic equipments that she'll be needing . Some furnitures were also delivered yesterday such as some couches and corner tables for the receiving area. Basic supplies such as blood pressure monitor , Diebetes monitor and test strips, kinesio tape , pediatric tools etc were also delivered. I helped her with ordering some items online since most items were on sale. I can't wait for it to be fully operational. Cancun hotels

I think I'll never stop looking for hotel / resort accommodations for this year. How I wish that it's for me and my family, but its actually for my sister who is scheduled to have a few short vacations this year. Well, most are just weekend getaways at some cities and states near their area. But she is also hitting the beach by summertime , so she's asking me to help her look for cancun hotels. She's thinking of El Dorado Seaside suites, as she wants something that is really overlooking the water. However she is still open to some other options that would fit in her budget. She's looking for a regular sized rooms , overlooking a body of water, a yummy food , and great hotel facilities. If you can come up with something, let me know too.

I think it was last year , when i went gaga shopping during a Big Sale at Gymboree that I received an email from Crazy8.com, a store that's a part of the Gymboree Group and it offers really nice clothes for kids. My high school classmate who is now based in USA also recommended this brand to me. SO the shopaholic that I am signed up for their newsletter, and i went crazy because they gave me a welcome treat. $10 less $30 purchase !!! Wee! I am so tempted. You may think that my girl has a lot of clothes already, but goodness, she has gotten big that I need to stock up badly :)

I have been hooked with necklaces lately , and i cant help myself but to browse online and look for some shopping finds. Last month i got myself a fashion jewelry that i plan to use to boost up a plain outfit like a classic tee and jeans. I am so in love with layered necklaces like pearls and chains. It looks hip and chic. Then I also plan on getting a personalized jewelry like a necklace or bracelet. The personalized one can be for daily use and i want to put initials of my kids. When i was browsing through the jewelries, I remember that I need to check for a Bridal Jewelry too . Its so adorable!!! I want it for the princess, but sorry, Im kuripot nowadays so im not getting one for her Yet. Not YET. Not this time Hahaha. besides she has some shoes at the rack til she gets 1 :) I learned to control my shopping urge with Dominique because she grows FAST! As in super fast (though her feet is not that big , which is another excuse for shoe shopping). Birthday plans

My birthday is still next mnth , but as early as now , i am thinking on where I can bring my small family for a simple celebration . I have a lot of expenses already lined up , so I can only take them on where my budget would lead me Hahaha. I am thinking of staying for 2 nights in a hotel in Alabang since i have free hotel rooms voucher that I got from a friend. Then we can just go around the place for dinner. Hmm what do you think? Any suggestions for a really nice restaurant in the area?Of course, we have the kids , so it has to be baby friendly as well .

If only im not loaded with expenses, I would love to visit Bora or Bohol this summer. But that has to wait i guess. My parents and my sister will be home for a short vacation on November, so I am reserving those beach escapades by the time that they are here. It maybe a little cold na nga lang, but still, mornings and afternoons would surely give us a perfect weather by then.

The 2.9 Kilos baby girl has gotten so big! Last week she's already 8.3 Kilos , and as her pedia told us, that weight is good for a 9-month old baby! She laughs and giggles a lot and enjoys playing with his Kuya, I wonder til when would that be. LOL. She moves around the bed now, and lifts her butt in her attempt to crawl. It seems only yesterday that I had those sleepless nights when she was a newborn. This is a sign that I better look for insurance rates as early as now.

Internet is one thing that I cannot live without. Eversince I discovered the power of internet, it has really served it's purpose for me. Aside from research, I use it to earn extra online and of course, I call my family at the other side of this planet for free.
