She woke up at the wrong side of her car seat LOL! All throughout the party that afternoon, she was suplada to my relatives. Not her usual self .. bawi na lang next time :)

Here's my princess , a week before she turned 8 months old. This was during our family weekend at Bellevue. I really thought we will have a hard time since she's a bit young and we have to bring a lot fo stuff for her at the hotel. To my surprise, we really had a great time there. She enjoys the water at the pool even if its a bit cold. I can't wait to have another weekend break again. Its good to have it once in a while .

I can tell as early as now that my princess will need the most effective diet pills when she grows up, hahaha! So far, i never had a hard time feeding her and i do hope it won't change til her toddler years. I guess most moms can say that feeding a toddler is somehow challenging because they tend to be picky, or sometimes they just dont have the appetite to eat.

I will show you in my posts to come why... i cant believe that at 6 months, she would recognize it and smile when someone would try to capture a picture of her. She is soo different with her Kuya who wont smile no matter how hard you try to convince him to. I guess girls are really more into picture taking than boys huh?! I am so lucky to have friends who are into phtography, i dont need to go to a studio , and yes, i am offering my princess to be their model for baby portraits haha (hello alpha, aggie, joy , kathy and thea )

Very princess-ish! Hahaha.. in her sunnies while someone is holding her bottle of milk! We are actually inside a hotel function room when the pic was taken , and i thought of trying it out for her to see how she'll look..

She's one fab lil girl! ( o, syempre anak ko yan! hahaha!)

We went to her pedia today since she has colds (so as Kuya , and Mom has asthma)..she weighs 9 kilos already at 6 months ( i bet she will need fatburners when she gets older) , and as the doctor said , she is still overweight. 9 kilos is ideal for girls 10 months of age. But nothing to worry though since most kids who reach 6 months usually decreases their weight gain because they tend to start being really active as compared to the 1st 6 months of their life. She moves a lot and she is startin to sit on her own already:) i will post a picture next time.

She's not starting with solids yet because of the colds. I want her to start solids when she's at her best condition. im excited to witness that !

Undoubtedly, she is!

But I AM forever the Queen! Bwahaha!

Dominique turned 6 months old last Monday ! Actually, it was only that same morning when i remembered her day.. Bad mommy! So later that day, we just went to SM for dinner , and as usual we had a pizza and pasta night at Avenetto. Didn't brought along our camera because I dont have any space at the bag anymore. This is the reason why i wanna get myself a point and shoot LOL (another excuse to shop , hahaha! i want an external hard drive too ).. Since its just me , Gelo and the kids who usually go to the mall, i cant manage to carry another bag aside from the diaper bag . Our precious DSLR needs to be in its own bag opkors! LOL!

Anyway, back to my little big girl .. she's still overweight , and toothless LOL! Im on a panic mode because Joaqui had his first set when he was just 4 months old. Oh well, its not the same with all of your kids talaga. I just need to wait furthermore. We will visit her pedia too for a check up..any guess on her weight? Her last was 8.3 kilos (march 28?) . Oh, and i cant help but feel excited to start her with solids!!! Weeee!! Another mommy duty in the morning! Wish me luck!

Its so adorable!!! I want it for the princess, but sorry, Im kuripot nowadays so im not getting one for her Yet. Not YET. Not this time Hahaha. besides she has some shoes at the rack til she gets 1 :) I learned to control my shopping urge with Dominique because she grows FAST! As in super fast (though her feet is not that big , which is another excuse for shoe shopping). Anyway, back to the shoes, Tip Toey Joey is made from 100% soft leather , non slip rubber sole which is perfect for those early stages of walking. You can check their main site here. Okay, its already 1:43 am at my laptop, so its officially March 27 ! My lil princess is 5 months old today! Look at her in these pictures, taken the other day..

** i know what you're thinking, is that a cleavage?? LOL*

She really has grown BIG :) I am so thankful that even if she had a mild case of reflux during her first 2 months, she is recovering well from it. She still has reflux episodes but it's not like before that she would throw up her milk after a few minutes of drinking , and its like 2 tbsps of milk intake ha ! Imagine how many times do i change her clothes, burp pads, sheets etc in a day! Whew! Good thing she has lot of clothes LOL.

Anyway, its summer here in my part of the world so I got her a white cotton sleeveless top on Twilo, its half the original price so there's really no way of letting it go. And of course, leggings!!! Hahaha. Im a sucker for this one so i got her a brown one with tiny pink heart prints. Cute!!! By the way, I also has a reason for that leggings, she has an allergy with insect bites Specifically mosquito bites, so I try my best to protect her legs. More on that topic soon. I still need to look for a lingerie costume, my cousin needs one for the party she's attending next month.

My princess turned 4 months old last Feb 27 . We just had spaghetti and cake to celebrate her day. Here's a few pics. Look closely , something went wrong ...





It was the daddy's fault. The cake says 3 Months! LOL. I asked what went wrong, and he said that he was too busy checking out the Ferrari parts at a magazine while he placed his order. oh well.

Anyway, have you seen the big brother? There's no candle actually, he just loves to blow even if there's no candle at all. Oh, it's a frozen brazo de mercedes cake from Aggy's, its our favorite :)

She's getting bigger each day , and prettier! She's one happy baby.

Just this morning, her attempt was really successful. She's been trying it for many times, i guess being a little overweight made it hard for her. But still, look at my princess, at 3 months and 2 weeks.

January 22, 2009 .

I woke up at 5 in the morning because I heard her cry for milk.As I positioned her for breastfeeding, I felt that her temperature was a bit feverish. She has colds since Monday, so I am thinking that this slight fever could be because of the colds. I woke up my husband and asked him to get the thermometer, and her temperature was 37.8 C. I tried to freshen her up and after feeding, she was in deep slumber. But the slight fever didn't dropped at all, so we decided to take her to the Emergency Room of UST at 2pm.

Horrible horrible traffic ! We got there after almost an hour, well in fact we could have been there in 15 mins (kasama na slight traffic jan ha). Her fever didn't even reached 38C, but I dont have plans of waiting for that to happen so we rushed her to the ER. Why ER? Her pedia doesnt have a clinic during Thursdays kasi :)

So anyway, we underwent the usual ER routine , Q & A etc etc. She had a CBC test , and all the results were normal. She was just sleeping then , but she cried when she had blood extraction. They pricked her right footie. So far, they say its viral. But I am still asked to closely monitor her breathing pattern (since we have a history of asthma) , milk intake , cough and colds etc. Upon reaching home , i gave her sponge bath and the doctors told me that I can always freshen her up with sponge bath , and if the fever will reach 38C, I can give Paracetamol.

As of writing, her temp is 36.4 and hopefully it wont reach more than 37.5 again. I am just sooo paranoid and panicky lately. I never thought that I would still act like a new mom with my 2nd baby. Ang hirap pag sila may sakit. Anyway, she's better now, hopefully , tuloy tuloy na. Her milk intake didnt subside either. She's 7 kilos at 2 months and 3 weeks :)

She's 2 months and 3 weeks now. She coos and smiles more often, and yeah, she's beginning to look like me :) I recently arranged her clothes, I kept some to make way for bigger ones. Size 6M fits her nicely, not to loose and not too fit. Next time that I'll do some shopping, I'll get 9M - 12M :) Lately, she's sleeping through the night also, she only cries for milk and if she's wet. In a few weeks, I am seeing more comfort in taking care of her. Hopefully I'll have more time to sleep and I can get back to my old shape too. Im doing some simple exercises at home since I can't take Lipovox yet because I'm breastfeeding.

The princess is sick. She's coughing hard since last night and she even vomited once this early morning from too much coughing. Tsk! Tsk! Tsk! I can feel now that we are having another asthmatic baby in the family. Blame it on our genes, Gelo was asthmatic til he was 7 and until now I have episodes too. Later we will go to her pedia so she will have proper medication already. For the meantime, here's a picture of the lil girl in her rocker. So far she's loving it , and would even sleep longer there during daytime.
